LAMU Lazy Susan Turntable Organizer | $26
“The biggest reason why I use a lazy Susan in pretty much every home is because it's one of the most versatile organizing products around,” Sanford says.
They come in different heights, different finishes and materials like wood or marble, variations like multi-tier, some have removable compartments or dividers. This four-pack of clear plastic lazy Susans are a perfect starting point.
You might use them for snacks in a pantry, toiletries in a bathroom, arts and crafts supplies , napkins and salt and pepper shakers on a kitchen table, or condiments inside a refrigerator.
“I really like to use them in kitchens and pantries because they're perfect for when you have a deep corner and you want to utilize that space, but you don't want things to get lost in the back,” Sanford says. “Having a lazy Susan there is perfect so that you can see what's in that corner and spin things around and access it all.”
That pile of clutter on the dining room table might even be able to stay there but being put inside a turntable can make it look intentional. If you know odds and ends will realistically keep being put there, putting a container there will manage the chaos.
“The one thing that I would make sure you take into consideration with the turntable is that the base my move. This particular product doesn’t do that, but with some you might want to put sticky grips or double-sided tape on the bottom. Putting heavier items on it also helps.”
Ultimately, Sanford recommends this product for everyone.
“It's a product that I keep in high stock when I'm going to clients' houses because I guarantee you I can find a purpose for it.”
