5 essential office tools celebrity private chef and CEO Jess Asaro relies on every day

Whether you’re running a small business, keeping your family in order, or just trying to get through days that pull you in five different directions, Jess Asaro gets it. The private chef and Fountain of Youth Food & Home founder shares the productivity essentials she relies on to stay focused, organized and blazing through a packed schedule.

Like all top chefs, Fountain of Youth Food & Home founder and private chef Jess Asaro started in heat of the kitchen grind. “I ended up cooking alongside a classically trained chef and did a lot of catering events, which is very, very laborious and exhausting,” she says about the beginning of her career in food. “But it really taught me a lot.”

Asaro turned her talent and passion for food into something of her own with Fountain of Youth Food & Home, a private chef and now staffing service for high-end clientele, including A-listers like Timothée Chalamet, Sofia Richie Grainge, Katherine Power, and more.

“It was around Covid when I really stepped into the high-profile homes,” she says. “That’s kind of when the private chef world exploded as well.”

“I really started to understand how these households were run, especially ones that have full staffing,” she says. “You are working cohesively with an executive assistant, a personal assistant, the housekeepers, the nannies, security drivers. So there’s an ecosystem, and I really liked that, and I really saw what made a household thrive.”

From A-list celebrities to elite athletes, Asaro’s roster of high-profile clients grew, and so did her need to keep things running smoothly day to day, especially as she further expanded her business into staffing. Here are the five essential office tools she swears by to keep her days running smoothly.

Jess Asaro’s everyday essentials as a private chef and founder:
