I’m a grooming expert. It’s hot. I don’t leave the house without this 1 product.

When it comes to summer sweat, you might think there’s not a whole lot you can do to stay comfy. Grooming expert and Blue Print founder Adam Hurly breaks down why Nuts Comfort Cream is his go-to for summer body sweat down there.

Longtime grooming expert Adam Hurly (founder Blue Print; writer GQ, Men’s Journal) knows well what it’s like to feel sticky and damp during the warm months, whether that’s surviving New York City in August, Lisbon in peak summer, or Berlin (yes, even Berlin) during its two weeks of proper warmth.

“Happy Nuts is an imperative product because it not only prevents chafing but it also prevents chafing by preventing moisture accumulation in your groin,” Hurly says.

What is Happy Nuts?

“It’s basically a tapioca starch cream,” Hurly says. “It does leave a light chalky white film on your hands, so you need to be able to wash your hands afterwards. You don't want to touch the pants that you're wearing with that same hand until you wash your hands.

“So there's a little bit of a learning curve because it's sort of a level above ball powder, but what it's basically doing is it's preventing moisture from accumulating.

“It's preventing chub chub rub, thigh rub, and chafing by having a really nice film over your skin so that you aren't having two wet thighs rubbed together. It's also preventing fungal infections in the area.

Why Happy Nuts is a go-to in summer

“It’s this really functional, pragmatic product,” Hurly says. “The second the temp is above 75 degrees [F], I'm wearing this every day, even around the house.

“My male partner and I will often do wallet-phone-keys when we leave the door, and we'll be like, ‘Oh crap, we didn't apply Happy Nuts.’ And then we have to ceremoniously make sure that we leave the house in a state of comfort.

“It should be an essential product in every guy's regimen because it does the No. 1 thing that guys want: It solves a really really big problem, and the name is so apt.”
