I’m Dr. Saema Tahir, AKA @TheNYCSleepDoctor. Here are my 5 essentials for sleeping well on vacation

If anyone’s going to have some ideas about how to reclaim your rest on vacation — isn’t that what it’s about, after all? — it’s Dr. Saema Tahir, a board-certified sleep medicine physician who dishes out sleep advice as Instagram’s @TheNYCSleepDoctor.

As a sleep medicine physician, Dr. Saema Tahir is a pro at giving advice for a good night’s sleep. She goes by @TheNYCSleepDoctor on Instagram, where she talks all things ZZZs to almost 10,000 followers — so she knows that better sleep while traveling is about more than the eye mask you stuffed in your tote after your flight.

“I’m not so rigid when it comes to controlling my sleep when traveling because I know it’s going to be off,” Tahir says. “But what I really try to do is adapt to the destination day and night schedule as much as I can.”

Tahir told If These Walls Could Talk about back on track after long travel days, jet lag, and more, from a Stripes sleep-support supplement she swears by to seriously comfortable pajamas.
