The clean and natural cream cleanser one beauty industry CEO uses to balance her skin.

When it comes to skincare, beauty industry CEO Gretta Monahan, founder of Gretta Enterprises, has just one cleanser she turns to.

“We need trusted sources for skincare because if everyone's seeing something on TikTok that pours out yellow and blue and green, it might be fine, but it also might not be fine,” Monahan says. 

“I was really, really trying to see if I could avoid unnecessary ingredients or ingredients that came up as questionable,” she says. A breast cancer diagnosis took her search to the next level. 

“I got to a place where, working in a salon environment, I felt like there’s got to be a cleaner way,” Monahan says. “I was craving more natural products. That said, when I went out into the natural marketplace, I found some things with some great ingredients but not active in the way that my clinical products were — the products that I had depended on that we use in our facials and we use in our treatments.” 

“I was already evolving and drawn to that and hunting for that when I collided with Naturally Serious because I was looking for that thing that I just couldn't find personally,” she says. “It’s clean and doesn't contain the bad stuff. That's what I dream about. And that is why I believe Naturally Serious was the white space. That was the white space. It did not exist before they entered.”

That clean but still active sweet spot Monahan was searching for shines through in the cleanser’s formula. Monahan says, “it’s a highly concentrated product, too. So, a little goes a long way.” 

“I love the creamy cleanser because it's great and basically resets the skin, and it’s not overly astringent, so you don’t have to go back and try to compensate by hydrating with a heavy moisturizer or vice versa,” Monahan says. “

That being said, “there’s some people with acne-prone skin or some who just don't like a cream consistency,” says Monahan. “But, the cream will not be goopy in any way. It rinses totally clean, so I can use it comfortably and I still recommend it to all skin types.” 

At the end of the day (or beginning!), she loves it because the natural formula does serious work without the worries about unnecessary or harmful products. 

“It fully rebalances. The pH is perfect for all skin types,” she says. “You don't have to worry about anything: No clogging, no additional ingredients to give you that kind of filmy, awful feel. You feel it immediately.”
